I was wondering where/when moustaches became popular. I went into my local Joann's a couple weeks ago and there was a flannel print with moustaches on it. Seems bizarre to me. To each there own I suppose.

This is called "Must Dash." Very cute and pretty colors. http://artgalleryfabrics.typepad.com...er-moneky.html

I'm currently pregnant with my second child, and I've seen this mustache theme a lot lately .... obnoxiously trendy if I do say so myself. The hipsters just eat it up though.... mustaches, huge clunky glasses with no actual lenses, men in skinny jeans (yuck), etc....

Maybe I'm just not cool enough.

Mustaches are a very popular theme for baby boy showers. I suspect that is where the decorating idea came from. Let us see what you end up making.

I agree...i think it's a division of generations in who is for it and against it but i can imagine a very modern cute version in soft blues and deep browns. I was going to do something similiar for my 6 month old son but went in a differentvdirection for his quilt. Too many have jumped on the 'stache bandwagon now...

I refuse to make my grandkids something like that..it is a fad that is wierd and in another year noone will remember it...or will say "what was I drinking when I did that??"If I am spending all the time and money to make a quilt I want it to be appreciated for years to come---.not something that they will grow out of or be bored with quickly
