You did a beautiful piecing job ... but i do have to say that looking at that makes my teeth hurt !!!

It does sort of grow on one - you chose a great pattern to get the most you could out of those fabrics.

Okay, after all your work, WHAT is she going to do with it? 'cuz ugly or not, it was still a lot of work, in addition to the excedrin you needed to keep at it...

Whether I like the quilt or not, I DID enjoy your story.
Maybe you should be a writer? (In addition to being a quilter?)

My first thought was it reminded me of some of the old test patterns on tv. I usually try to say that a quilt just doesn't fit my taste but........
