    I learn every day and on this site for sure. I would not have had the ability to see those blocks from that fabric. I just need to become more daring. Good job!

    I think the black blackground really brings out the OBW blocks. Here is a small picture of one that I made using purple flower fabric.

    I just love the contrast. Your blocks are really beautiful no matter how you lay them out. I think it was great for you to see this material (and picture it in your mind) as a OBW from the very beginning. That is a real talent.

    I would never have thought of that fabric for a quilt, because while I love the colors, I don't love the stripes. I have never made a OBW, so wouldn't have known just how pretty it could be. You are turning that fabric into a beautiful and unique quilt. I love it! Please post a picture when you are finished.
