    Thanks for your sweet comments about my wall hanging! :lol: :) :P

    I made it using the "Star Bright" pattern in "Your First Quilt Book (or it should be)", by Carol Doak. The finished dimensions (according to the book) are 36 1/2" x 36 1/2", but my binding added a little over an inch over-all.

    The book was NOT my first quilt book ~ maybe my HUNDRED and first! This is my first project from this book. The instructions are quite straight-forward and easy to follow, although if I truly were a beginner, I might have been frustrated by fact that the author did not remind the quilter to square up the blocks.

    That is one beautiful quilt. The colors and fabrics are just gorgeous!!!! I'm not one for Wall hangings but they are nice and quick to make out. The quilting, on the other hand, is always the time taker. :D
