Twilling Directions and Patterns
I have printable twilling directions for left handed people or right handed people and a couple of free twilling patterns on my blog, beetreedesigns.blogspot.com and there are several you tube videos out there you can also search Palestrina stitch. Mary Corbet from Needle and Thread has a video on it on her web page.

It is very easy to do. What I usually do is just draw a simple line drawing and go from there. I've done some twilling (if you Google it, you might also look under the Palestrina stitch since twilling is mostly a midwestern term) on my son's graduation quilt that I'm working on. He wanted a physics equation so I wrote it out and did the stitch right over what I wrote.

Twilling is an embroidery technique. An example can be found at: http://www.needlenthread.com/2011/06...on-quilts.html
