Just love this post! We all can use a good laugh after the last couple of days. I have a battered old tin box with buttons that used to be my gram's. Probably been around long before the industrial age! Glad you thought to invite everyone on the QB to calling hours/viewing? Will there be refreshments served later? Irish whiskey maybe? How about PIZZA?

Or to Save and store the Very 1st Quilt you made? or to use this box with a letter of 'Why' to pass the 1st Quilt along?

I would never toss that box. I would cut the top off and frame it to hang in my sewing room. I have used the same paper bag for strings for 16 years. I couldn't stand to get rid of it. The are real nice little trash bins on the market, but I just keep the same old bag.
