    Love your idea to use silver seam binding instead of aluminum foil. I wanted to make some but didn't like the foil idea. Now I just have to go to the store and find the silver binding. Thanks.

    I did the same thing after watching the video a couple of days ago - I didn't put the tin foil on - I just used fabric and put a layer of batting between them for the top - and put insul bright in the main part of the ornament - I think these are very cute.

    What are some options for the insides of hot pads? Anything we might already have on hand? Thanks for your replies. Would love to make some of these for gifts.
