    Default Christmas tree wall hanging

This is a pattern from thimble art.com. After seeing this picture, I will cut off the ribbon or take it off completely. Can anyone tell me what to do to the back to hang it on the wall?

That is pretty with the ribbon. You can google "How to make a sleeve for a wall hanging." I normally cut a strip of fabric the width of the wall hanging, hem both ends, sewing together, then hand sew it on the back. I will try to remember your post and send you a pm when I get off work at 930 tonight.

If you can undo the top binding, just sew a sleeve to the top of the quilt, tack it where the loop sits against the quilt and redo the binding. I had to do this a few times before I remembered to add the sleeve before doing the binding. There is a tutorial somewhere...http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...ve-t77636.html Here it is!

Oh how CUTE! Love your dimensional tree! And I think the ribbon goes with the 'feel' of the piece.

It is not very big. You could use the Command strips to put it on the wall. They are easy to remove after the holiday and won't hurt your fabric or wall.

I like the ribbon but I would cut the streamers so more of the tree is visible. I like to put a triangle in the top corners of wallhangings for a dowel for hanging.

Nice.... also you might want to add a wood doweling in your sleeve to keep it flat
