I have tried the dental threaders and they work on large eye needles, but not the short quilters that I use.

Love this idea! I think that they would also sell at guild shows!

Those are cute Never tried the dental threaders But in the past ordered from Nancy and Clothide the threaders. they are long with 2 thin wires at the ends and big hole in the middle to put thread in. Find them great for a the machine and hand needles. Last yr. received catalog from Newark dressmaking supply & they have a new one called Flexi-needle threaders # N718 for $3.00 for 35 of them. This Company has 2 catalogs & they are Newark dressmaking supply and Home Sew Inc. Order the catalogs and in both books you find coupons for 2.00 off shipping & other items. They sell quilting, sewing, craft supplies. Also telephone # is 1-800-736-6783 They are located in Pa. Sorry this is so long.

    I bought this at Joann's with a coupon: https://www.shopfonsandporter.com/ca...eading+needles

As long as the thread is not too thick it works great.

    Here's a link to Joann's website: http://www.joann.com/search/_self%20...ing%20needles/
