    I'd look for a stripe or plaid with the red, black, green, cream colors in it.

    Thinking I would do something in a dark blue or brown...hard to tell because your picture is darker--and I can't tell which is dominate.

    usually I decide on the color thread I am quilting with and then chose the backing color

    I would use a holly & berry green fabric on the back. Wonderful quilt!! Very festive!

    the backing I use the most is an off white or cream color as I can get it in wide widths so it can fit a queen size quilt in one piece. I can purchase it at hancock fabrics. When on sale sometimes less than $3.00 a yard.
