I am a very patient person when it comes to opening gifts. I always wait until the rest of the family is done opening theirs, to open mine. I want to see what they all got, I can wait. I learned lesson when I was 10 or 13 years old.
We got one or two presents for Christmas, never more than that. Some friends told me that they open their gifts ahead of time and re-wrap them, so their parents wouldn't know, because they couldn't stand to wait. So I decided to try it. I opened both my packages and they both contained the same exact sweater only one was pink and one was white. I didn't like them at all. Now I knew what I was getting, I didn't like them and it ruined the excitement of Christmas for me. I dreaded opening them Christmas Eve. I never did that again, ever. I like to be surprised!!

I am so excited!!!! My secret santa package I mailed arrived at it home. There has only been 30 more post since I last looked on here. I still have not received my package yet, but its okay. I can wait. People on here are so friendly and fun to hang with. I want to wish all a Happy Thanksgiving now, because I will be working Thursday. But I will have a quilt in hand to work on while at work. I am working on a Table Topper right now soon as I get off line. This is so much fun!!!!! Just lurking in the posts you learn so much about a person and their likes and dislikes. It sure helps you when you are trying to make a package for someone. Happy Holidays to All.

I got a call from DH today and when he was leaving the house there was a large cookie tin at the door from my SS.

The kids want me to open it, but I told them I have to wait.

I am sure they will be sniffing around it over the next few weeks.

    Thank you SS.

Good morning my quilting friends! I cleaned my house yesterday (really I did) and I did not find where my hubby hid my SS package. Could have he taken it to work? Oh, he is goooood!

Good morning everyone. Well, still no SS package, so I will spend Thanksgiving sulking in the naughty corner. I am quite sure I won't be alone.

I put my coat on and am ready to walk out the door "early" to shop, and where am I, but sitting here catching up on what I missed last night. So I guess I am caught up now and can get to a little food shopping. It will be only me here so I can buy what I want. I will get a big box of my favorite Pinot Grigio, so if anyone wants to sulk with me, I will happily share.

I'm still waiting on one box too, but am almost grateful because it isn't staring me in the face taunting me!! Have to be good and not spend all day lurking the forums, since I have a quilt that needs to be hand quilted for a friend by Dec 1st...THe biggest drawback of being out of work on disability, is even with all the free time I now have to do things I get even less done than when I was working

Pop on over to my place, Grann...Always room for one more at my table...
And bring the dogs....Tink would love it! You can shake and ponder my SSpackage...and we can have Gus and Heidi give it the real sniff test. With the small nose that Tink has, she can't get a really good sniff...
