Nice one Foxflower. Love that quilt. Great manly colors and selection. Of course he is going to love it, you made it.

Missgigglewings. Glad to see someone else is a little slow on those swap blocks like me. Earlier this year I got mine done. I love how simple you made your farm quilt. How fortunate to get good sized blocks. Wonderful job on the back. I had some of that same fabric you used. Works wonderful doesn't it. The receipients are going to love it for sure. Awesome finish.

Here is a little something I whipped up last night to get a finish in. I joined this ugly fabric challenge, like I need another hole in the head, a few months ago and here is the end result. Yep had to get all that fabric to work together. I used the ugliest in the lining and sleeves. Then embroidered the 50s poodle on the front of some fabric that is pink with black phones on it. The striped handle was one of the fabrics as well. Then because I could not find just the right green, I used a tea towell stripe to go on the outside then accented in black to hold all of the fabrics together. Worked. I don't think it is to bad at all.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I just noticed that the top row is missing from the picture...I was looking for the really cute little frog and he is not there! I will check my camera chip when I get home because I know there is a frog in that quilt!!

I like those fabrics! Especially the inside ones.

On another note-
DD 15 just walked by and spied your fire fighter squirel avatar. "That is a strange picture!" she said. "I like it!" LOL

Great projects everyone! Love your batiks on black dublb. And, cute "ugly" bag QuilterMomma.

I finished 4 UFOs last week. The kid's quilts just needed to be machine bound and the table runner was left at my MIL's for a hostess gift on Friday. Just 83 UFOs to go... LOL.
