Isn't it funny how they are NEVER on an outside easy to rip area? I have found that when I have to rip the 3rd time & I know I am tired, I quit sewing & rest or sleep, according to what time of the day it is. After ripping 3 times, I know it is only going to get worse. Ask me how I know!

I really like that quilt. Is there a pattern name, or a combination of blocks? If so...which blocks?

It's a pattern from P & B Textiles called Autumn in New England. I've had it for a while so I don't know if it's still on their site but you can check and pbtex.com

Yep. Did something similar with one of my projects. It's in the UFO bin for now until I decide if I want to fix it or leave it.

Well, it adds character to the quilt! You've seen pix with a whole school of fish going one way and one little fish going the other haven't you? Just showing his independence that's all! I'd leave it just as it is and if and when anyone ever noticed it I would claim artist's prerogative :-) Incidentally, I had to look and look for the boo boo and I'll bet most people would have to too.

I would have turned another one that way also, probably the one in the white row above it, second full "bowtie" from the upper right corner. It would have made it more 'artistic', messing with the perfect symmetry. But that's just me.

Have to laugh...still took me quite awhile to find the problem! Could have sneaked it past me!

If it really bothered me I think I'd just applique a little square on it and call it done. You will be adding some tactile interest, that's all!
