I have been working on this quilt and just lack the outer borders. One word of caution - Mark each piece you cut. Makes putting it together a dream.

I also made it by looking at the picture and "just figuring it out". If I can do it, anyone can.

This was the very first quilt I ever made last Nov - jumped into it with a queen size! Debbie's pattern and instructions are clear, concise, very well thought out. I've made a total of 16 this first year and this one is in my top 3 of 'easy'! Please post pictures of your project!

I've been eyeing this pattern, too. However, I have others I need to finish first.

it's still nice to have the pattern for the amounts of fabrics required. if doing scrappy, you can wing it. but it looks so nice done in lovely fabrics.

When you make this pattern be as accurate as possible! You need to be dead on the cutting and you must have an accurate 1/4 inch seam. Make sure your machine sews at a 1/4 inch most do not. I also recommend a 1/4 inch foot and a stack of post it notes marking the 1/4 inch on the sewing machine bed! Go slow and keep the instructions next to you. You must have the fabric guide handy as well! Have fun. This is precision piecing! Luann in CT
