    Default Doodle Book

I whipped up a "Doodle Book" as I like to call them today for my local quilt groups Dirty Santa gift exchange. I've made several of these (Composition Notebook Covers) and they're really fun, fast and easy! The pattern is IJ882 by Indygo Junction.

I used lefter batting and scrap strips of some batiks, did a little couching, some applique and decorative stitching.

What a neat idea! I have a doodle book, I use for my crazy quilting, sketches of flowers, birds, trees and different stitches I want to try. You know I will be making one of these for it. Thank you for the idea!

Thanks! Hopefully one of the quilters will enjoy it. I'm not much on batiks, but it seems like everyone else in my local group is nuts about them.
