I have a babylock ellegante 2. I love it and hope to upgrade to a newer model next year. I have made quilts, and tote bags so far. I was not sure how to attach a picture.

Denise85, Start a new thread or just click reply. Above the reply box are symbols, and the 3rd from the right is a block with a tree inside. Hover w/your mouse & it will say insert image. Click it and a window opens letting you browse your folder of pix. Choose the pix and 'upload'. Remember to read about resizing your photos on the main page (Sticky-resizing photos). I was hesitant to try, but got it first time. Let us see your pretty projects...we love looking at other's quilts, etc.

We are getting the WILCOM full version to do digitizing of embroidery designs. I'm really excited to be able to complete my own designs and be able to work it into our business.

Does it say that you need the updates? I bought the 5D Pro last yr and didn't have a problem. A site that might help learning things about the software is mrpatience.com. He has lots of info on 4D and some on 5D but they are both the same. I just got the new Stitch Editor Plus; love the features and haven't even scraped the surface as to what all is in it. The dealer should be able to help; love mine and the classes for the machine and the 5D

The dealer had to call Viking and in 10 mins. they had my 5D embroidery problem fixed. It was one box checked that shouldn't of been. They have ordered a CD for the updates and will install it next week. Much happier now. Thankyou

    Default Embroidery class on Craftsy

I have done it, the one by Eileen Roche. Awesome class!
I also purchased her book and am working on one of the quilts now. Also got the snap hoop. I got the large one and am thinking I will be getting the 5X7 now as well. Love the one I have.
I have a Brother machine but she has the hoops for a whole variety of machines.

Default 5D software Pro vs the editing one

I have a Brother machine and have been looking at their PE-Design software. However, I have been hearing lots about the 5D and the local JoAnn's has a store within their store. If I get the 5D there are lots of classes at the store so it wouldn't become "shelf-ware". The shop that has the PE-Design has classes as well, but it is one day-all day and I am not sure of the website support for the software.

I am having difficulties choosing the package I want. I know that I want to be able to design some of my own motifs at some point in time, and I am understanding that I would need the 5D Pro to do that.
It is a lot of money and am wondering what others think. Is it worth it?
    Would you do it again?

I am looking forward to all your wisdom.
