QM that is mine isn't it????? It is so pretty.

Elisabrat, your color thoughts sound great, and I don't know yet until I see after Christmas, lol.

Rhonda, I have planned for awhile now to use at least one of yours. I can't wait. I am still searching for my little measuring thingy.

We really have a list going. That is great!

That little quilt would look GREAT on my sewing room wall. I think you could even send it early if you like! Very pretty with all your vintage fabrics.

I still have a tiny bit of other stuff to finish before I can get on this. here is a question: would you rather prefer a small quilt with say four or six 'quilty blocks' or would you prefer say something like the flower quilt that was posted earlier with say an applique? what do you like to do? I have more fun I think with quilting blocks than applique because I am NOT good with applique. One day I want to learn to needle turn but not on your project.. quite yet!

Needle turn is pretty, but I am like you not real good at it. I enjoy the fusible applique or the machine applique. I have gotten even to where I do the fusible then stitch it down with the longarm so i do not have to work so hard on ether and it looks real good because on the backside of the quilt it shows off all the applique pieces and then I can really quilt on te applique and no one is the wiser. Yep, killing two birds with one stone. Important note on that, must be sure to use a quality fusible. Also, doing it Whigrose's way of donut hole (cuttng out the centers before putting on fabric) really makes the appliques soft and they look so close to needle turn. Whigrose's work is so pretty.

Question are we to post our pictures of finished items before they are received or are we to post tiny corners of what we are doing instead? like teases/ curiosity and all. what say you everyone? and did anyone go check out that fractured quilt in the boom yet? I am still amazed.

I explored that fractured quilt .... if only I could do that! It looks difficult ..... for someone with more experience than me. I'm still working on my design ... teaser pictures to follow.

WOW you started it? I pulled fabric. That wore me out so I am taking a break. uh like a one more week break as I have to finish a quilt I started. Mystery train, finished the back piecing today as I had not enough fabric to do the whole thing and now to pin it and machine quilt it. I have a brother csi6000 so its not a big machine. One row at a time. and smoooshing it into that small window is no easy task. I think gee I ironed this thing together before I got to the quilting only to smooooooooosh it into 1/10 the size it was ..was there thinking involved here? no choice. I dream of your long arm quilt machines. ok I only sorta do. I fantasize about sitting in a chair with a cup of hot tea watching you use that long arm machine on my quilt. I love making tops. I hate quilting. (horrid thing to admit)
