Default My First Shot at Trapunto

So happy with this - my first real shot at trapunto. I wanted to do a few test runs before I do a big ol' quilt. I'm really happy with the results. I got a little bit of knotting and realized after a way I could have made it easier on myself. Lesson learned!

All I can say is that polyester batting as earned it's place back in my quilts!

What a great job you did with this, I can hardly wait to see what you do with "a big ol' quilt"!

It's beautiful! Great job - good luck with your big quilt but it doesn't look like you need it!

Wow! I'm really impressed. I've never tried it because it looks hard to do.......! You certainly have the right stuff!

Thank you guys so much! A1penny - it's not too terribly difficult, but really time consuming. The hardest part so far has probably been controlling those small stitches around the trapunto design. This has really opened up a whole new door for me though, IDEAS ABOUND!!!

So nice! Congratulations on giving this a try and doing so well at it. I admire it, but have avoided giving it try.
