That's really beautiful!! Great job. I felt like the day would never come when I could do feathers on my longarm that I was happy with. Then one day it just sorta happened. Once you get the idea, it's not so hard. You look like you've been doing these forever!!

those came out just beautifully! Debcavan has some great tips on feathers (she's also a feather freak like I am). Another help that I've had is Kimmy Brunner's Twirly Whirly feathers DVD. She teaches you how to do this exact thing. Mine have come out great after watching that one several times. Your right, doodling commits it to muscle memory too. You wouldn't believe all the doodles I've got laying around everywhere! Of course that old practice, practice practice comes in too. Great job!

Beautiful! There is nothing as inspiring as a quilted feather, IMO. I purchased two DVD's from Kim Brunner about feathers...my plan is to spend the month of January watching them and PPP....maybe by June I can be half as good as you are with yours.
