I sew in the evenings after work, it is dark when I sew. On the weekends I can see the backyard. No snow here, just some rain and, cold and horrendous winds.

My front yard, my neighbor who sits outside all day because he can't stand his wife, every car that drives by, and howling wind!

The snow looks wonderful and pristine...I am with Diane, you can keep it haha!

Outside my window there's a fence. If I have a view like that I wouldn't keep the blinds closed.

It's pretty to look at. I live in Marion, Iowa and have been without power several hours today. Hear others around here are still without power and will be for another 24 hours. The snow is very heavy and the winds bad. My whole yard is nothing but broken branches and everything is really leaning over from the weight of the snow. My cable wire in my back yard is almost touching the ground. I guess you get the picture. I hope everyone stays warm tonight.

Just east of Des Moines, Ia and couldn't see much of anything out of the window because the north window was plastered full of snow and out the west window the wind was causing a whiteout down the street. We got 13 inches and the wind is still blowing tonight. Lots of broken branches and over 30,00 without power--many bad accidents around here--3 killed in a 25 vehicle accident on I35 to the north. We are staying home!!!!! It is beautiful to look at from inside the warm house, tho.

I can see my favorite color out my window here in SC....GREEN! I grew up in Montana so I saw enough snow there the first 20 years of my life to last forever! Pretty, but NO THANKS! Merry Christmas to all!
