Merry Christmas to you too!!! I saw the Hobbit Monday. LOVED it. They made it into two movies so the second half comes out next year... And a third of other Tolkin mirth the year after, so I hear...

It's Friday & I just downloaded the next part of the mystery. I have gotten behind some.(geese) I have the 4 patches & geese w/white wings done. Also the white 2 x 3 1/2" rectangles. Torn about whether to skip the other geese & go back to them later. Not sure I have enough of the Turquoise fabric! I'm also waiting on the greens as I am substituting either a dark yellow or a dark orange.

Well, I am almost done with step 5. All I have to do is finish pressing and squaring off the blocks. I did add one more step to mine though because I just couldn't throw away all those cute little triangles. After sewing the squares on my block, I went back and did another seam to connect the small triangles before I cut them off. It made it a little quicker for me than trying to sew the triangles and having to worry about the bias. They will trim down to a nice 1 1/5" unfinished. Thinking they might make a cute little miniature when they are all done.

I think it is when you run out of bobbin thread and just keep sewing.
I have about 1/2 of clue 5 stitched, looks like they are coming out right on so won't have to trim
They look like star points so perhaps there is a star block in our future
