I also have a Megaquilter and experienced problems with thread breakage and skipped stitches. For some reason, I happened to check the instructions for loading the bobbin. It is to be inserted with the thread movement being clockwise. For the past few years, I had always inserted the bobbin with the thread being counter-clockwise due to that was how it was done on a prior machine. After having that "DUH" moment, I've not encountered any more problems with breaks and skips......

Thanks.....I did make sure my bobbin winding was in the correct direction......."still stranded".....................

I've used one for several years and haven't had issues since I started using the exact same thread in the bobbin as I use on top. May be different colors, of course, just same thread. I just love mine. Sorry you're having problems.
