Default time to talk about safety

do not do what I did.I was standing on a chair in my fabric room-rearranging and fell off the chair-ouch-and broke my wrist.4-6 weeks in a cast and maybe even a pinning to go thru.So please do not stand on a chair. If this can help at least 1 person to be more careful that will be great.do not do what I did----please

Oh nooooooooooo. I'm so sorry to hear that. I had hand surgery and was in a cast for 8 weeks and only now just getting good use from my hand. I feel your pain. Just be patient and take good care of yourself. Nothing else you can do.

My friend did the exact same thing in her mother's kitchen on Christmas Eve! Here's hoping surgery isn't needed and a speedy recovery!

My friends all envy me...I am 6' tall and can touch the ceiling in most rooms, so I don't have to get a chair! But could you come over to get things out of my bottom cupboards for me? I have 2 artificial knees and 2 artificial hips (and 6' tall, remember) so I don't bend like I used to. And no way can I sit on the floor or I would never get back up (without the aid of those cute firemen, anyway)! Sorry for your pain, call me next time!
