Here's another simple one that uses fat quarters. Calls for 7 FQs, 2/3 yd background fabric (I used white), 6" WOF for band for name, and some ricrac. makes a quilt that is 41X45. THe top and bottom are pieced, but I haven't sewn them to the name band yet. The red fabric is the name band. Each little bit on that will be a letter of the child's name. I've laid the ricrac on the bottom of the name band, but it's supposed to go from each edge to the name. Don't quite know where I'll put it yet.

The pattern is from a book called: LIttle Quilts 4 Little Kids by Heather Mulder Peterson. THe quilt is "Oh Baby!"

Fabric squares for vented on a log cabin. Simple but definitely no scrappy.

Such talent to make something so beautiful. That fabric line is pretty and sure would lend itself well to many patterns.

I made this quilt using 2 1/2" strips. My friend made it using 3" strips, and it didn't look right.

So, did you see this other thread? This quilt is just so cute and might be perfect for your fabrics. Down side is that the OP didn't know the name but (imho) would be easy to recreate it (maybe even with a butterfly rather than a flower?).

Need help figuring out this quilt
