Then your controller is not adjusted properly. They were made to be used with the heel or ball of the foot. Cords have never been an issue for me. When you use the ball of the foot, the cords are at the top of the controller into the machine, so they don't get in the way.

Yep, I been told that two or three times. But so far nobody has given me a link or a good solid lead to a tutorial on how to do it that I can access on my dial up PC.
My own attempts to adjust them has been only moderately successful. At least they don't go up in smoke.

I had to rewire Helen (1952 201-3) a number of years ago and it was not hard to rewire it at all. Look at how the one is in there and just do it the same way. Happy New Years everyone.
