Oh I would love to know how to make this or at least come close, because my dad has so many stories of when he grew up and worked with a mule. It is simply beautiful.

We actually have to wonderful mules of our own, so there will be another couple of portraits in the works soon. My dad also had a team of mules on the farm; I'll never forget sitting atop one of those mollys in harness holding on to the hames with the brass balls on the top! PM me if you are interested in a copy of one of the drawings I start with (when I have them ready) so that you can give it a try yourself.

Ok, every time I see something like this, I have the overwhelming urge to call them (in this case, you) a horrible person! Here I sit thinking I have some unknown drinking problem (never touch the stuff) because I can't sew a straight line, and here you come with this absolutely fabulous sewing work! LOL. All I can say is it is fabulous!
