Default My new rolling ironing station is done :D

I'm starting 2013 off on wheels... a new rolling ironing station
I built a big ironing board cover for my ironing board and now that I'm in my new house & new craft mecca, I find that I move my ironing board all over the place. I got tired of it collapsing on me when I moved it so I made a new rolling ironing station.

I took pictures along the way to make a tutorial. That's on my to do list for the week
I found the 36" high rolling shelves on Walmart.com for $40. I'm sure that will be the biggest question asked about this set up - where'd I get those shelves?...
I love it already. It is so much easier to move around now!

Love it. I have this cart in my sewing room but it holds baskets with patterns and my fat quarters. Never thought of adding a board and making me a rolling ironing board great idea . Thanks

Great idea and you can store "SOME" of your fabric stash on the shelves.

What a great idea! I have my big board on a storage unit with wicker baskets underneath for storage, but it does not have wheels - I think I like that idea better. Will have to re-consider my choice. Tks for sharing.
