Beautiful Winter Finch bird. I have a bird Christmas tree up; I haven't decided if I am ready to put away the birds for another year.

Beautiful block, love the birds, especially cardinals. and unless it snows the birds are in survival mode and should not be fed, but since some are keep it up. If it snows it is alright to throw potatoe peels and other veg bits out.

I LOVE your bird in winter picture! I have a few that feed from the dried fruit we leave on the trees, but,I stopped feeding them a few years back when I saw a mouse enjoying the bounty too. I sure didn't want to encourage them! I do try and keep fresh water in the bird bath and break the ice fo them.
