I walked on my treadmill this morning, then my daughter came over this afternoon and I walked again with her. A friend gave me her treadmill she wasn't using so I have 2 side by side. It is awesome to walk with someone else.
I just want to send out an idea for the new people and a reminder for us regulars. Cindy has to pay to send out the package of fat quarters to the winner each month. If you put a dollar (or stamps) in with your fat quarters it will help pay for the postage.

We have lots of new faces on board this month. I am excited seeing this. Welcome back returning friends and our new friends.

There may be times I am absent for a few days when my life gets a bit crazy. I do try to get on here daily. We all need encouragement and help from time to time.

I have a decision that I am not only gonna trim the fat on my body but also make this a year of getting out of debt and limit my spending on my fabric stash. Only buy what is needed to complete projects. And try to get my home decluttered. At times my place looks like a tornado went through.

I am also doing the stash buster mystery mini train with some of the other ladies in the group. I have pulled some fabric......now have to press them and then cut them into 4 1/2 squares and then the rectangles. Hope to be caught up before the next clue comes out. So i guess I better get off the computer and get infront of the ironing board before I have to get some sleep to be able to work tomorrow.

Good idea ... I already sent my fat quarters with an extra one for her as a thank you --- I will also send $. I can't exercise for now as I have bad sciatica...but once this bout is over --look out!

Tomorrow I have to go in to my doctors office. I am going to see if they can weigh me while I am there to see if my scale and theirs weighs me the same. Then when I go back to my doctors on Jan 31, I am going to have them weigh me again and turn in that number. I did weigh myself yesterday though.

Good Morning everyone! Yea I'm on the Mystery Train too. Don't you find that searching for scraps is like a train going downhill with no way to stop - fabric has been flying it's almost out of control. I've found fabric I'd forgotten about. Scary to think back as to how many years ago I purchased someof it. Yagotta love it. Does standing at my ironing board all day count as exercise? Maybe if I walk from cutting table - fabric stash - ironing board Mmmm.

Going from the cutting table, digging in the fabric stash and then to ironing board could be part of your work out for the day. LOL

I personally feel that any movement is better than none, the more we move the better.

Wow I am going to have to work hard to keep up with all ladies. I weighed in at work on the 2nd.

I did manage to eat only a small banana after dinner last night. No junk food.

Does it count as exercise if the alarm went off this morning and I though about getting out of bed? I am going to go do it shortly. I need to get back in to the habit of doing it before work in the morning. By the time I get home I am just so DONE! I am having problems at work. I am an aide in a Special Ed classroom. (teacher problem) I talked to the principal before Christmas. I am just so Done with it and upset I am going to lay it all out to the teacher next week. If I didn't need the health insurance I would quit right now I am so upset. The teacher and I have talked several times. I am keeping a notebook of what is going on for my own protection. Wish me luck. Even chocolate and carbs no longer work to calm my nerves. I am going to talk to my sister in law about how to say this to the teacher. SHe just retired after 20 years as a principal. Wish me luck.
