A very thoughtful idea to give quilts to the nursing home.

Thank you for doing such a wonderful thing for the residents. Many of them have nobody and nothing to call their own. Our guild does lap quilts for a nursing home and it never ceases to amaze me as to how grateful people are for things that we take for granted. You are a special soul!

What you are doing is so wonderful! It's no wonder the residents are going wild over your quilts, they are really great. Just think, you are not only adding the warmth and comfort of a quilt to their lives, but also a great deal of excitement and something fun to talk about! Kudos to you!

Even tho DH has passed, I still bring lap robes to the nursing home. It is such a delight to walk the hallways and see residents with the lap robes draped over their legs in wheel chairs. The aides like them because they do not get caught in the wheels. Also it is a fun way to try a new quilt block pattern.
