Wow that Affairs from the Heart pattern looks time consuming but beautiful!! Would love to start it but have so many appliqué UFO'S :0(. Needleturn appliqué is my passion!!

My list includes finally quilitng 6 quilt tops. Finish the challenge quilt from my sewing club. Make 2 graduation quilts for nephews and a baby quilt for my sister's baby (due in July). I also want to do a scrappy log cabin and have already started started a EPP star quilt to keep my hands busy while watching TV in the evenings and when riding in the car. I also want to improve my bag making skills, make a couple of purses and work with my daughters (ages 9 and 11) teaching them to sew on quilts for their American Girl dolls.

Well, let's see: I am ready to begin a white on white Welch quilt--18" blocks QAYG and then put together; a top that my late sister pieced for her newest gd; a jungle quilt for dgs who is 7 and a tumbler top that is almost ready to put together. Whew! That's a list! Good luck to all of us.

I hardly know where to start. I'm trying to finish Craftsy BOM 2012 as last year I was side-lined for 6 months recovering from a ruptured disk in my neck, surgery and rehab for over 4 months, and have signed up for the BOM 2013. My DIL would like a quilt for Zoe's bed, our DGD, and a quilt for their bed, but Zoe's quilt comes first. I have 2 other BOM from several years ago, pattern and fabric all included; HOWEVER, high on my list is to decide on a pattern and then make the top for our July 4th family reunion this year. If I can get the top done early enough my oldest niece said she would quilt it, as she just got a LAQ last year - she and her husband plan to have a quilting business up and running when they retire, and yes I said her husband, as he quilts too. Then there are the Bow Tucks bags I want to make for friends and lots of craft items for a craft show in Nov. Other than that there isn't much on my agenda for 2013 LOL.

I gave three quilts for Christmas, the ones who didn't get them wanted one too. More to be done for this year

My LQS is having a mystery block of the month. They are 16 inch blocks and from Eleanor Burns. Also our monthly quilt club does a 12 inch block. You get a fat quarter that one of the employees picks out and buy it for a $1 and make how ever many blocks you can get then you get to put your name in for a drawing. If you make 3 blocks, you get to put your name in 3 times. I can't believe I have won 3 times lately, the last one I won was Christmas fabric from Thimbleberries which I kept, the Jan. one had 19 blocks and my name was again drawn but I declined as I already haven't worked on the Thimbleberries one.

I joined a BOM program with another group I belong to. January is done. I think I can manage 1 block a month.

I started a batik quilt I've been wanting to make for me. Got the pieces cut out and started putting blocks together. Just happened to notice the directions said to use 12 different fabrics (how did I miss that?) and I only used 4. I think it is going to look alright so I'm going to finish it. Maybe I'll do the correct version next time.

I'm waiting on some clothes to arrive and then I have 2 lap size memory quilts to make.

That is all I have planned right now as far as quilting goes. We are painting the bathroom this weekend. Next, we are going to do some repair work and paint the kitchen. Guess my time will be divided up for a while.
