Default Rosemont Quilt show 2013 bus trip info

My Guild wants to plan a bus trip to this show. I have only gone once, by myself, so I dont remember a lot of info.

Please post some tips for us. Is there plenty of places to sit down for our older members?

I assume that they have a concession for lunch.

Anyone know what the parking charge is for a bus ? I did email the convention center for this info since they dont post the parking charges on their website. Perhaps a third party takes care of the parking?

Any tips are welcome. I anticipate lots of questions that I may not have the answer for.

    Thank you!

    Sandy

The only two shows left, in the Chicago area, are the Original Sewing and Quilt Expos. April 4,5,6 2013 @ the Schaumburg Convention Center.
and November 14,15,16 2013 @ the Tinley Park Convention Center. Went to the Tinley one last fall, it was great. Very good classes. I would say, though, to sign up early.

It's a shame that there won't be any classes. I won't be going. I know the parking, just for cars is $15.00 per day. Too steep for me. Tinley Park, was free parking.

It is $13/day. I just confirmed it with their business office. My guild is renting a van to attend and they needed to know the cost.

    Quilting is not "cheap" either.

Group rate is as follows. From Quilts, Inc. they produce the show.

Regular daily admission is $10. Groups of 25 or more can get the group rate of $9 per person. The group ticket includes the show
program which is normally sold separately. There is also a package option for bus groups--again 25 or more--which includes
admission, program, show pin, and tote bag. The package is $18 per person.
