    Default Simple Cobbler

1 Box Pillsbury Sugar Free Yellow Cake Mix
2 16 oz packages frozen blackberries
1 16 oz bottle of Diet Sprite

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.Put the frozen blackberries in the pan. Before opening the package, knead the lumps out of the dry cake mix , then spread over the berries. Pour the Diet Sprite over top of the cake mix covering well. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown. Serve with sugar free whipped topping or ice cream if desired.

Oh, you can use any kind of fruit that you'd like to. You might even add a sprinkle of cinnamon to it for a different taste.

I love this recipe - thanks for reminding me of it! I remember a weight watchers leader giving this one out. Tastes really great with frozen peaches. Even tried it with lemon cake mix and frozen mixed fruit. Yum!

This recipe also works well with frozen strawberries.

I've made it with apples (or even a can of applie pie filling) and used a spice cake mix. It's wonderful!

ooooh ... how about chocolate cake and cherries, for a black forest twist!

MimiBug ... when you used apple pie filling, did you still use the soda? and same amounts?

I seem to recall a pie filling cobbler with the cake mix, but that you poured melted butter over top.
