I've always wondered that too, and I can't fmq, so I just hand quilted...no problems at all then. :-)

That's a really great print I found at Spoonflower from a hobby designer "SuzieDesign", that much more applique would have killed me (!), here's the link: http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/758338
