A LOT steep !! LOL so funny to see what people ask for such things but you never know, they may get a bite !

I have quite a few old thread spools, from my grandma's stash ...
I've forgotten all about them, so thanks for the idea ... going to get a big mason jar and display them in my sewing room !

The ones that I have are exact replicas of that picture. Have been collecting wooden spools for a few years now. I have 3 such jars. Who'll give me $300.00 LOL!!!!!!

I have quite a few of these old jars with that one piece lid. One is even blueish. They belonged to DH's grandmother. Wonder what somebody would pay for some of this stuff.lol

We see it as insane, but they probably see what we are willing to pay for something and think we are insane. Everyone has their own quirks and it is hard to see their point of view some times. I think they are crazy to try and sell it at that price, but I will be surprised if they don't get pretty much what they are asking for it!

I bought 20 wooden spools of various colors of silk thread and 15 wooden spools of regular thread at a yard sale for $5 this summer. I plan on displaying them in a jar or something when I find the right container. They are also still in the original box they came in.

That's just an old canning jar with spools of thread in it......vintage I'm sure but I would not pay 100 for it.
