I also use Washable Crayola markers occasionally, and haven't had a problem with removal yet. I do test them on the fabric I'm using first just to be sure.

This is one of those DAH --- why didn't I think of that?! Thanks for sharing this tip. I am shaking my head. I always purchase the washable markers for the grandkids and never even thought of using this for quilting.

Great tip....since I'm on a fabric moratorium, I think I'll spend some $$$$ on gadgets I've been wanting. I'll add this to my list!!!!

I use them all the time. Roseart is even cheaper and washes out.
But, i always ck on a scrap first.

Sounds like the Crayola folks should be advertising at the LQS

Don't tell the Crayola Co. If they market them for quilters, the price will triple!

I use the washable crayola markers as well (other brands are not as reliable). They have to be good -- just think of all the angry parents if they could not get marker out of the kids clothes. I have the same philosophy about using elmers washable glue -- it's aimed at consumers who are guaranteed to get it on their clothes and the parents want to get it out.
