    Default New from Iowa/Minnesota/Texas
    Hi everyone, my name is Sandi and I am new to this board, but not so new to quilting. I live in Iowa, summer in Minnesota and travel to Texas for a month in the winter.

    I do have a question. Has anyone ever used fleece on the back of a quilt, and if so, did you also use batting? I'm making a t-shirt quilt for my grandson and thought about putting fleece on the back. Any suggestions?

    Welcome from Ontario, Canada. There have been threads on QB discussing fleece. Some use fleece and batt, some use just fleece. Try the search bar to see earlier discussions.

    Welcome from Louisiana If you use batting it will be quite heavy and warm. It all boils down to personal preference. Keep us posted on your progress.
