WOW, I can't believe that you did it all by hand!!! You are a very brave lady. You have my deepest admiration. Beautiful quilt. I love you dog too. He is so cute.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments about my quilt and Inspector Scruffy. The quilt was so much fun and I learned so much while making it – it was like going to quilt school for me. It was a free 12 month mystery quilt in 2012 from the Sentimental Stitches website and Dear Jane website, and they took turns posting blocks on the 1st and 15th of each month. Many times my jaw dropped as I looked at the new blocks each month, but was determined to keep up. It was intended to be a red and white quilt, but I decided to do it with 30s reproduction fabric, and I did sew the entire quilt by hand. Here’s a picture of the whole quilt after my dog gave it his “seat” of approval.
