    I think you are being a little hard on yourself. This little quilt is finished, serves a purpose, very pleasant to look at, you are admired by your co-workers, and think of all the lessons you learned.

    It is beautiful to me. Someone on this board once said, "Quilters are to hard on themselves." or something like that. I did the same thing when designing my Mother's Day wall hanging last year. Did not measure for seam allowance. Keep up the good work. We learn something with each project.

    It is a masterpiece! I love the pattern, the fabrics and the backing is perfect! As for the binding, well, that little scrap of binding belongs in this quilt. it gives the entire quilt an extra dash of personality! Great job.
