After finishing my little Valentine wall hangings, I was digging in my scrap bins for greens to make something shamrock. Lo and behold, I found two strips of binding that matched the inner border of this wallhanging. Unfortunately, I was about 4" too short. So back to the bins. I found two large HST's with the same fabric. I salvaged the 4", attached the binding, and added more echo quilting. The FMQ was done last November when I was practicing. It's not perfect, but it's for my bedroom, so I'm the only one who has to be pleased with it. I guess it pays to save one's scraps ![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)

Very cute, it reminds me of tulips. "Come look in the garden bed, something beautiful is growing..... bright shaped like a cup all red, tulip open to the sun..." We used to sing this in rounds when we were children.
