Topstitch, if you joined this board in 2011 and are still not a fabric fondler I think you should go into some sort of deep therapy! Or maybe skip that and just spend more time with your fabric.

I finished a quilt that will be gifted in May. It was hanging on a rocker in my living room, but .. everytime I passed it I petted it so I moved it so there's won't be a grubby spot when it's gifted! My name is Jan and I'm definately a fabric fondler.

My name is Roberta, I am a fabric fondler, and my friendship group is called : The Fantastic Fabric Fondlers. There are four of us now. We meet twice monthly and have lots of fun.... If we do nothing else, we fondle our fabric and make plans to use it in some wonderful project.

Me too. I even got spotted a couple of years ago at the Creativ Festival (a show for all kinds of creative hobbies) petting fabric. I had just purchased some amazing Japanese prints and while I was waiting for my ride, I grabbed a seat and couldn't resist petting the fabric. A woman walking past stopped to comment.

When I get grumpy here's what my DH tells me: "Honey, go to your room and pet your fabric!" So fondling fabric is a therepy. Who needs therapy? Nutty people - muuuhaha.

Yes, I confess that I am a fabric fondler, and therefore, a fabriholic. My husband doesn't understand, but is grateful that I only have one addiction.
