Default Opinions needed ~ Eagle panel quilt

This is where I am at ~ definitely not loving it, but I have purchased fabric twice because of changing my mind! I have to stick with it the way it is; but, what do you think of red for the binding? If not, do I need to add a block within the borders to add some more color? It is for my DH and he loves it, so I guess that is what matters ~ but I would really like to love it as well!

When I first saw it, before reading your remarks ... I thought 'needs red binding". Now I'm looking at it more and wonder if a yellow binding would be better. Suggest you audition both and see how you like it.

I vote for a red binding! Audition yellow and red and see which you like better!

I think it needs red. Maybe as piping between the borders

I am with your hubby, I love it! I think I would like the grey as the binding. The red would match the middle but I think it would pull your eye away from the center. Grey would let the center be the focal point.

I would bind with the blue. Let the panel stand out! It is beautiful.
