    Default Foundation Paper Piecing Tip

I was watching Quilt Cam with Bonnie Hunter Sun. afternoon and she mentioned a new source of foundation paper for piecing. Dig out your old clothes patterns, dry iron the tissue flat and cut into foundations for paper piecing. I have used telephone pages but pattern tissue would be really easy to remove and I could clear out some old patterns that I no longer need.

Would pattern tissue be easier to tear than phone book pages?

Think about after xmas sales when leftover tissue paper is on sale! I had stocked up for next season but could use for this!

Great idea! I have gotten rid of most of my clothing patterns but I am sure they could be picked up cheaply at a local thrift shop.

I use doodle pads. They are a great foundation and are brittle and tear easily.
