The Dreamweaver is looking good to me too. Any idea on what a good price would be for this great combo?

I was looking at some quilt pics on line and one had a partial pic of of the machine. I saw the cutest button on the machine. Above the "sliding button" was a picture of a turtle and to the right, a rabbit. I realize this was the speed setting. Just loved that symbol and would like to know what machine uses thatch,Bol. Tanks.

I have all my dream machines, a Tin Lizzie, Bernina, Brother embroidery machine, babylock, featherweights, singer 301 & 501, and more. No, I'm not rich! I bought all my machines second-hand at good prices, I kept my eyes open and watched garage sales, craigslist, quilting sites that sell used machines, and ebay. I made offers if the price didn't suit me. I have given machine to friends and family. My attitude is that this doesn't have to be an expensive hobby if you're patient. Now I just have to be a better quilter to use them.

At least 4 machines, oh, maybe 5. One for embroidery (preferably multi-needle), one for piecing, one for fmq, a longarm, and a serger. Oh, and gotta have a treadle and a hand crank for days when the power is out.

First off, I love my Janome 6600, so I would need a new one....then I want a machine for embroidery only, but since they are out of my price range, I've never really looked for one.....then I would have to have a new gammil LA setup, one with a computer!.....I have no idea where I would put them all, I guess I would have to build a new shop just for me!

Scissor Queen: How interesting that you mention an A-1 longarm. I HAVE an A-1 longarm but nobody seems to have ever heard of them. I have had mine since 2006 and it runs nearly daily. I have never had a problem with it that I could not fix myself. It is not computerized, however. Good choice, I hope your dream comes true!

I own my dream Machine that does piecing as well as embroidery. I also have a Serger.
I would love a long arm, but would need a whole new huge room to own one.

The newest Bernina with embroidery, a long arm with computer controls, and a tan featherweight. There there would have to be a studio to but them in, or I get DH to give up his man cave (the room above the garage).
