That's exactly the concern she had.
And yes, the OP did post that she had returned it to the store and that the store were contacting BP.

I like the Bounce Ironing Spray, too. 16 oz runs around $2.50 at Walmart, and I paid $7.95 for 16 oz of Best Press at my LQS.

If you make your own the one thing to be sure of is the oil has to be essential oil, the kind that is okay to put in soap. It's kinda pricey but will last a long time. My recipe says a few drops of the essential oil. I have used the recipe since I was in my teens. We made it in Home Ec. class by the gallon for refills. The teacher bought in Vodka and no one thought to sue. LOL I was so glad when I discovered Best Press and Bounce. No more having to make it.

I have never had it change colors. Try some on a test piece first and see if it effects the material.

I use the unscented and it's clear. It's not really unscented though.

I hadn't used my clear, unscented for a long time and it did get cloudy. I dilute mine with water. I just diluted it as I always do and shook it up and just kept using it. No discoloration that I've seen.

I buy it by the gallon, usually on line, by searching for sales and/or free shipping. Last time I had to buy two gallons to get free shipping, so combined an order w/ a friend. While I do agree about keeping LQS open, this is an item I'd rather buy less expensively, if possible, so I have $ to spend on fabric.

Of course, it's also available locally @ the Mennonite store for less than $30...
