    Default Road to Florida Quilt?

Hello, Thank you for the warm welcome.

Has anyone made the road to Florida quilt? I, found a picture and pattern in an old quilting magazine and I am thinking I will just a take a deep breath and give it a try. I have only made one quilt which was the dresden pattern and have made quilt blocks for pillows, but I am just a little nervous ( no really nervous about my skills). Please share with me your ideas.

Tried to find a picture of a 'road to florida' quilt, but couldn't. It's not that i could not find a picture, it's that there were about a dozen different patterns with that name. Can you post a pic, or describe it?

This blogger had made a couple of strips of the Road to Florida and posted a picture. I saw a picture of one years ago, probably in the same old quilt magazine you have. It's a pretty pattern and would be easy to draft in whatever size you wanted to use.

That is it.... tried to scan picture from magazine but having scan problems.
I will take a picture from magazine and try to post. The only difference is the color but the pattern is the same. Do you think it would be to difficult for someone who has only made one quilt in her life?

If you pay close attention to the instructions, you should be able to do it.

That is a very pretty quilt to make. char, I just love your quilt. I know you can make it, just take your time and like char said pay close attention to the instructions. There is always someone here more than willing to guide you through it. Good luck B Dawn and happy quilting!
