I also have no where to use a table runner .... but, I'm game to try this out anyway and maybe I'll have a gift to "stash" away for that unexpected housewarming or something. Off to my "cat-cave" to see what fabric combo I can come up with!

Thanks Judy for taking us all on another ride!

I'm in--haven't participated in any event on this board yet, so it's time to take the plunge with a smaller project. I'm going with 4th of July--red, white, blut and gold. I'll post a pic later this week. Ready to get on that train--I love to travel

Oh JUDY, here we go again & I am so ready!! I love your idea of a Christmas gift for the end of this year. It is always so nice to be ahead of the game. For me, I can always make table runners for either myself or my grown children & their families. Now I must go digging through my stash. Thank you so much.

Think I'll try an Easter/Spring theme. Or maybe Halloween...I have loads of Halloween fabric. Or maybe both

*squeeeee* I've been waiting and WAITING for this. lol. Thanks Judy, me luvs trains.

I've never made a table runner either, so here is a new one for me. I think I'm going to go with some muted colors for the kitchen table. Hm. Although I do like the idea of the red, white and blue...decisions, decisions.

Oh and I'm bringing some Riesling for the sweet foods in the club car

I'm also thinking it's a good idea to get a head start on Christmas. Can't start today but maybe tomorrow. I'm so anxious to see what Judy has in store for us this time!

I'm busy packing ready for this train ride, I so enjoyed the last one. Judy you must have known I have just redecorated my dining room and was thinking a table runner would finish it off perfectly. Going to have a look at my stash, I have lots of fat quarters would they be suitable or does the fabric need to be WOF? Will leave some of my triple chocolate brownies and some nice English Breakfast tea in the club car.

Ok, I need help on this one with colors. I like the first four, but...something is missing. I like some of the second four pieces, but not all.

Wheeee!!!!! I'm running for the train as it leaves the station! I have a bunch of fabric picked out and in my bag, so will go through them and pick some. I might make two -- one in Christmas fabrics and the other in ???? This will be a blast. Oh, I made a batch of cinnamon raisin cookies to go along with Judy's cider in the club car. See you there.

paulswalia - love the idea of a dresser scarf

Ssulabug - Cheryl, I am NEVER EVER ahead of the game on gift making so this is a first for me LOL

Shadowirish - no reason you can't make both, and put them together and make it a reversible runner

reesky - no reason a kitchen table can't sport a patriotic theme! As to your fabrics, I would stear away from a strip like you are showing.
