    Default pot holders -

Supposedly - a pot holder should be "easy" to make ?

In my experience - I think NOT!

I would no longer recommend them for a beginning project.

I can make them - I just think that there are easier things for beginners to start with.

Although I do agonize about how big to make them, how much filling to put in them, etc.

I use an orphan block, put two layers of cotton batting on top, add a backing sew around, leave opening to turn. Turn sew around block 1/4" for a binding look and it is done. When it gets all yucky and used looking I toss and make another.

I totally agree with you. When I make them, I make a few sets at a time. Assembly line. LOL
