It is NOT ugly. Quilt it up and see how you feel about it then. For me it would be a keeper because it had a piece of my husband's life in it. I wouldn't be afraid to put it on my spare bed!!! LOL

Ugly...no. Busy...yes. Would make a great back for another quilt. It would then be reversible.

That's a great use of leftover memory bits from his shirts. It may be more subdued than I normally like but I think it is well-done. I bet it will grow on you. If not, what a great picknick quilt.

I love this idea of using Rit dye...I would never have thought of that

Ugly, I don't think so, in fact it turned out pretty cool.

I like it. I love the pattern you used. My grandma made ugly quilts and those was the one we kids made palets on the floor with at bed time.

No such thing as ugly when you are quilting... you are creating memories... and just think of all the memories in this quilt.

That is NOT ugly! My first quilt was UGLY! My dear friend wanted to comfort me so she studied it awhile then said " give it to the blind. They will love it ; it'll keep them warm and they'll never know!" She was sincere & I loved her for it!
