Wow, oh my heavens , wow. The dimension is just wonderful and I love purple too.

I use wool batting a lot. It is easier than polyester for quilting and still gives that wonderful puff.

What an amazing-looking quilt! I'll have to look for the pattern, cuz I'd LOVE to try something like that.

Labyrinth Walk 84" x 84" Featured in Quilt Magazine April/May 2012 issue

Thanks everyone! I thought I was going to have to wait until I got home tonight to let everyone know where the pattern was, I remembered that it was a Quilt 2012 but I couldn't remember the month, but I see that Ngeorgia has already found it. I didn't buy a kit, I chose my own fabric and really wanted to make it in greens, but I felt the color choice of purple was more in line with what the kids would want. Maybe the next one..... However, be aware that there were several mistakes in the magazine pattern - I was short some cuts and had too many of others. After I was done piecing and had leftover pieces, I checked with Quilt's 'oops page'. If you choose to make this pattern check that out too!
